Saron Lutheran-1st Presbyterian Church are part of 2 denominations: the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America ) and the PCUSA (Presbyterian Church USA).

We believe that ALL people are loved children of God. We are a welcoming and affirming church for all people. We are called to live a life of faith that helps and supports our communities and the world by showing God’s love to all. We believe the Holy Spirit calls us as witnesses to create, strengthen and sustain faith in Jesus Christ. It is God’s work in the world that uses our hands, hearts, feet, and voices to make this world a better place. We believe and practice open communion, this means that all are invited to take part in communion regardless of who they are.

Again, all are welcome and we affirm all kinds of families. We believe we are called to share God’s grace and love with the world.
